Unmotivated Mornings

Morning is the most productive time of the day.

You’ve just woke up from a deep sleep, well rested and feeling energized to start your day.

But all that energy wanes quickly as you find yourself having no clear idea of what you’re meant to do, yet again. So you spend your precious morning time and energy deciding what to do. Since you’re anxious about starting your day, you ditch planning and end up doing the thing you feel like doing.

As you have no clear idea of your goals for the day, you lazily do whatever task you pick up, feeling unmotivated.

In a few hours, you haven’t made nearly as much progress as you should have, and you realize — another beautiful morning, wasted.

What a shame.

This could have been easily avoided. If only you made a plan for the day at night before sleeping, when your motivation peaks.

Morning time is sacred. You don’t want to waste it on planning and strategizing.

That time is for taking action.

But of course, action without planning is destined to fail.

So plan your damn day the night before.

And wake up with a clear idea of what you’re supposed to do.

By the way, if you struggle with waking up on time, this will help you a lot.

Because when you exactly know what you have to do, you won’t want to press snooze. A pre-planned day will give you a sense of urgency which won’t let you laze around in the morning. You’d be itching to start the day.

Try it.
